Fused Glass Workshops in Portsmouth and Chichester

I am running a program of fused glass workshops in Portsmouth and Chichester so that I can share my love of glass fusing with others. I will teach you how to cut and break glass along with assembling it to create decorative glass art.

Wandering Witches Fayre 2014

Woo hoo! This weekend sees one of my favourite event's of the year the Wandering Witches Fayre. Showcasing the most beautiful Pagan inspired arts and crafts, readers and live entertainment it makes for a perfect Sunday. Look forward to seeing some of you there!

I will have a selection of dichroic glass pendants, fused glass dishes and glass gift items.

Commissions, commissions and Events!

I'm having a fabulous time this month already, I have had some really lovely commission work but have to keep it secret as they are for Christmas presents! It is sooo hard lol!

Made to Order @ Shake Your Glass

This week I have had several messages hit my inbox with an array of new commission challenges! 

If you would like items made to order I am honest and will tell you if they are within my ability. I have even had a Christmas order in so if you have something in mind add it to my list sooner rather than later so as not to be disappointed. 

These 4 lovely statement rings have all gone to new homes this week and there is a batch ready to go in the kiln. I will also be working on the new product of glass paperweights. Have a great weekend, Elisa x

Glass Commission Work

Phew... what a weekend Drakefest was - dancing, live bands and lots of merry making along with some sales to new faces.
All in all pretty awesome! Even the downpour Sunday night didn't ruin the mood although did make for a very wet pack down which is always a bit well soggy!
I've had some awesome glass commission work to be getting into this week - glass bead earrings, a beautiful sparkly cat pendant with more on the cards including a new design and a special memory necklace. Pictures will follow as the owners receive safely! Have a fab weekend! Elisa

Drakefest 5th & 6th July 2014 at The Admiral Drake, Portsmouth.

This weekend bings the annual Drakefest Event at The Admiral Drake in Portsmouth. Bands, food, beer, dancing and of course some fabulous stalls!
I will be there with Flower Fairy in my purple gazebo. Can't wait!

Marketing

This week I have attended the Vistaprint Night School evening with Jo Fairley Co Founder of Green & Black's as the guest speaker. I like other creative types freely admit that marketing does not come naturally to me. I make the product well and that's about it.... So this year I decided that it wasn't going to happen by magic and I needed to at least get to grips with the basics. The journey so far has included reading lots of online articles with top marketing tips. I have implemented - new brand and design, working on the social media side of things and writing a press release. So far so good. Jo's advise is hard work, perseverance and excellent customer service are key. I don't want to be a multi millionaire but I can scale this to help with my local success. I left feeling positive that I'm at least headed on the right path!
