The Glassy Results

So lets start with the bad news. I did indeed get excited and use my glass noodles but forgot one fundamental fact that coes don't mix unless it's in small amounts. Unfortunately this means that on opening the kiln yesterday each of these little beauties has a hairline crack... :(
Saying that I do have some shott clear so will try again soon.
On the positive note I love love love my circle cutter. Yes clear is evil but it's worth getting bloody fingers to get these fab results. E x

More Fused Glass Fun

Woo my glass noodles arrived today so I am looking forward to trying to master melting these into beads over the Easter break.

The kiln has been on twice this week and the picture below was last nights batch. Cross fingers as always that things melt in the fashion I would like them to. As you can see I've been playing with my birthday pressie - the fab easy cut circle cutter. I can see an addiction growing...

Another event to look forward to in June I am doing the Unique Maker's Market and The Spring in Havant. I'm quite excited about this as it's a new location for me.

Hope you have a fab Easter! My plans are to do a bit of lampworking, see Dirty Dancing at the theatre, head to the pub for a drink with the birthday bird and enjoy the company of my cousin who is visiting. E :)

Look what I got!

Woo so I got a great bargin last week. My friend is off travelling and was selling off her glass so I had a bit of a splurge! I did some test pieces so looking forward to a proper session when I find the time. Got a few sales planned this month which I'll update when confirmed.
