Commissions, commissions and Events!

I'm having a fabulous time this month already, I have had some really lovely commission work but have to keep it secret as they are for Christmas presents! It is sooo hard lol!

This week see's Shake Your Glass hooking up with the talented Dancing Pot for the Created In Portsmouth Arts Trail. Running for 3 days it's set to offer a sneak peek at the talent of local artists and makers on Portsmouth Island. For further information visit http://createdinportsmouth.co.uk/

New Website Coming Soon

I'm excited to announce that I will be upgrading my website in the coming weeks. I will be keeping my blog and continuing to regularly post.
This week I have been in Somerset and had the pleasure of visiting the Cheddar Gorge - totally magnificent and inspirational for new ideas. You know I love texture.
On that vain this is a new tester light pull bead I made. I'd love your opinions.

Made to Order @ Shake Your Glass

This week I have had several messages hit my inbox with an array of new commission challenges! 

If you would like items made to order I am honest and will tell you if they are within my ability. I have even had a Christmas order in so if you have something in mind add it to my list sooner rather than later so as not to be disappointed. 

These 4 lovely statement rings have all gone to new homes this week and there is a batch ready to go in the kiln. I will also be working on the new product of glass paperweights. Have a great weekend, Elisa x

Portsmouth Arts Trail - Created in Portsmouth 2014

I am pleased to confirm that I will be taking part in the Portsmouth Arts Trail - Created in Portsmouth 17-19 October 2014. I will confirm details when the leaflets have been published. Another exciting opportunity for Shake Your Glass!
The aim of the trail is
"To create opportunities for the 'Artists' in Portsmouth to reach the public in Portsmouth and make art and craft of a high standard accessible to those who currently feel 'it's not for them' as well as open the eyes of the residents of Portsmouth to the bounty of skill surrounding them."
